Camera and face processing

The camera supplies the background image and, in Live and Mix modes, face images for the game. Face landmarks and segmentation masks are calculated on your device to create face balls. They are not used to identify you. Camera frames and face-processing results are not uploaded to our servers.

Video recording

On first use, the app explains video recording before you choose Start with video. That acknowledgement is remembered, and later games record automatically. Choose Back if you do not want to continue.

Recording starts after the background camera becomes ready and includes camera preparation, captured faces, gameplay and the result animation. A recording indicator shows its status. The microphone is not recorded. Recording pauses when the application is in the background.

Storage and deletion

Camera images and face-processing results are held in memory for the game session and are released when the session is cleared. These images may also appear in videos recorded by the app.

Videos, thumbnails and their local index, including date, score and game mode, are stored in app-specific storage. They are not automatically added to your device's public photo library.

You can delete saved videos using Delete in the gallery or result screen. Uninstalling the app removes its app-specific files. On Android, application cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled. Temporary recordings older than seven days may be removed during a later startup.

Sharing

Nothing is automatically posted or shared. Share opens your operating system's sharing interface for the selected video. The recipient application or service handles the shared copy under its own privacy practices. Deleting the original in Pong My Face does not delete copies you exported or sent to others.

Third-party software

The app uses Unity, MediaPipe, Instant Replay and Native Share to run the game, process images, encode video and open the sharing interface. No account, advertising SDK or analytics service is enabled in the current app configuration.

The operating system and app store may separately process diagnostic or distribution information under their own policies.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke camera access in your device settings, return Home from the permission screen, decline the first-use explanation by choosing Back, delete recordings, or uninstall the app.

The current game modes need a camera for background capture. Only capture and share images of people who agree.
